From the Oilers point of view, trading Stalock was more of a salary dump than anything else as he wasn't really needed in Edmonton or in its minor league teams.
I still think Edmonton tries to get another goalie at some point to upgrade over Koskinen, right?

I wanted to gouge my eyes out once I saw stalock was a shark again. He was not that good when he was with us and he is old now and so is Reimer, Reimer somehow is alright for his age but he is no stud. Really feels like a slap in the face to fans to say they still think they can make playoffs this year while actively taking 4 steps backwards by having two goalies past their prime who you already experimented with…I think it’s a good move to become a bottom feeder team with a higher draft pick, but that’s not what Jonathan becher said, organization is delusional
