    * Foligno (fractured left finger) returned from IR. Donato (illness) also returned to the lineup. Murphy (groin strain) was placed on IR.
    * Reichel was a healthy scratch for the 2nd time this season.
    * The Canucks scored twice early on the Crevier-Phillips pair.
    * The Hawks went 0-for-5 on the PP.
    * The Hawks have killed 28-of-30 penalties (93.3 PK%) over their last 9 games.
    * Foligno led the Hawks with 7 SoG.
    * The Hawks are 0-16-1 with a -49 goal differential in their last 17 road games. Their last road win was on Nov 9.

I’m sure that the “Richardson can’t motivate this team” crowd will be just as quick to praise our spirited efforts against some of the best teams in the league in the last few weeks, especially given the injuries we’ve suffered

Could have been a lot worse. Gave up two quickly but locked in the rest of game. That’s a Cup contender can’t even be upset by it

That was a moral victory kind of effort from the boys tonight. This team is becoming pretty darn good defensively, especially when Raza is playing the way he has been.

We really had so many chances to sneak a goal in. 2nd and 3rd showed a lot of promise, but what are you gonna do

  7. jacksonattack

God I really like Foligno. If this rebuild ends up yielding a good team, the attitude and competitive spirit is being established by him more than anyone. It’s awesome.

4-20-1 on the road. That makes us early expansion team level bad – 6th WORST road start in the last 50 NHL seasons, behind luminaries such as the 92-93 Sharks (21 regulation losses) and Sens (24) as well as the inaugural 1974-75 Capitals (25 losses) and Kansas City Scouts (21).

    Y-I-K-E-S.

Razza needs to be resigned. Only 2 goals against the Nucks is impressive for us. Was expecting them to wipe the floor w us for a 10-0 tbh lol

Just finished catching up. Dickinson and Vlasic really impressed. Also fuck trading Mrazek we need to re-sign him ASAP. Dude doesn’t take an off night
