It’s frustrating…they’re so close yet keep losing winnable games. My vote is to win games and be in at least a wild card slot by March 8.

Resign Eberle for 3 years at 5m average could be the dumbest contract. Eberle does not belong in a top 6. Maybe maybe 2nd line but he’s a 3rd line guy at this point. Edit: give that deal to tolvy instead, i would rather eberle take a team friendly deal and play down in the lineup. Top 6 should have bjork, matty, McCann, bura, tolv and Wennberg if we bring him back?

I’d like to see them re-sign Eberle. Seems like a good veteran presence. Not sure about the term/money, but I have been a fan dating back to his World Juniors days.

If I were GM
-Ebs: try to resign Ebs 2 yr with a slight pay reduction. 3 yrs would be on the table for negotiating but I think we arent getting the production for the cap hit. Injuries havent been a real concern and hes a solid night in night out type of player which is why Id consider 3 years.
-Shultz: Would trade/no contract. He played much better last year and just not seeing it with some of our young talent.
-Tatar: Resign 2 or 3 year deal w/slight pay bump. Think Tatar has the leverage at this point as hes been playing really well for his cheap contract.
-Bellemare: no contract. Guys just invisible for the most part. Older and having issues with injuries.
