We made mistakes and the best teams will burn you and boy did Vegas take advantage of the mistakes….
But
We gave up less than 30 shots (27) for the first time in seems like forever.
We were playing with an intensity I haven’t seen in a while.
We absolutely our chanced the knights 39-14 and with some puck luck we come out of each period with the lead.
We controlled the flow of the game for the most part.
They never gave up.
We keep playing like that and tighten up the bad turnovers we should be able to claw our way back to a playoff spot.
Detroit and the Caps lost – I think with Hart out the flyers will hit a bit of a skid here…. Lots of opportunity!
