Not our monkey not our circus.
Thought this was worth sharing and discussing here since there’s speculation it’s in relation to the WJC 2018 charges. I know he’s not on our team anymore but his name is on the cup under our team’s name so I do feel it has some relevance here. Mods if you disagree, feel free to delete the post.
Fuck that guy.
If convicted fuck him and scratch his name off the Cup like Brad Aldrich.
I was like ffuuuuccckkkk when I read his name on the list. Glad it isn’t our problem and I hope the guilty get what they deserve.
“Cal Foote goes to prison” was not on my 2024 bingo card
JBB big brain traded all three players from that team so we don’t have to worry now
Foote, Taylor Raddysh, Katchouk were all on that 2018 juniors team, and former TB players. Makes me wonder how much of JBB management and trade work was also considering there might be a shit storm coming, and wanted to keep Tampa Bay’s name away from it. I am not saying those guys were definitely involved or guilty, but makes me wonder connection. If things come back from the investigation as bad for those guys, have tip my hat further to JBB’s player management work.
Also thinking about the tweet issue around Ian Cole last year, and he also is not a part of the team too.
Cal Foote had already come out publicly saying that he had zero involvement with the allegations. He is one of the players that has publicly stated this, which also includes Taylor Raddysh. Boris Katchouk, on the other hand, has publicly stated that he has helped the investigation, but has not released a statement as to why.
Looking at this it’s a bit weird, there was a full police investigation back when the incident occurred that didn’t find anything and the case was closed. Idk if there was some full cover-ups that the police didn’t notice in the first place or what.
