Genuinely guys, you don’t see anyone forecheck hard in these situations. All that is buying half a second while his team changes, and then going for a change. The goal is just to keep him below the goal line a little longer and on the side close to the benches, and then get off. You don’t see hard forecheck when there isn’t a single other sabre in the zone, and the ducks are setting up for the breakout below the goal line. It’s about making it go up the side of the benches, where your players are and not up the empty wing. Like there’s plenty to criticize about this team. This isn’t it.
