You see, even before you mention any names. What were the chaperones names for both the boys and the girl? Were both the boys and girl(s) presumed to be minors, at the time?
I often make fun of these guys but I'm very proud of the work they have done with the story and giving it the dignity it deserves

Could talk about streaming and platforms all day! Totally agree with the viewpoint of a streaming platform picking up the NHL. And, from folks who have been bit by the rights issue and blackouts, I think would be thrilled to pay for unlimited hockey and get the bonus of other content you want to watch.

Talking about arenas, while watching the Avs game at Ottawa, the colorado commentators said there was a small flock of birds that kept flying past their commontery booth during the game.
Eliotte Friedman suggested that Utah’s announcement is not unrelated to the Arizona situation. I know they said they want an expansion team, but Gary said before that they want clarity on Arizona by the All-Star Break.

The problem with Houston is the Rockets don’t want to share their arena and their owner doesn’t want to buy an NHL team, so they’d need a new owner and a new arena.
I’ve been to a bunch of arenas (24 current ones, 4 old ones), and of the ones currently in use, Ottawa is the only one I would consider a dump. Others might have issues, but the fans in Ottawa deserve better. The parking situation, sound system, and the seats that look dirty… the new owner was ripped off. It’s not in as bad of shape as Joe Louis or the Igloo were in their final days, but it’s far behind the rest of the league.
My heart breaks for the woman involved in this case. I hope she has an excellent support system around her and I hope that the players involved in that horrific attack get what they deserve.
I'm probably your one Utah listener, but I promise you guys a team would be massive here. Growing and wealthy metro area, only one other sports team in the area, massive fan support, and a new world class stadium in the works for the olympics. People were buzzing when we thought the Yotes were coming, a fresh expansion is even better. Utah Yetis???? Utah Sisterwives?????
How do you mix up Michael mcleod with ryan mcleod…
Houston almost had the Edmonton Oilers. Literally, hours away from the purchase when the Edmonton Investors Group came in and purchased the Oilers from then-owner Peter Pocklington.
Accountability matters. The delay in this investigation and the resulting accountability for the actions of the perpetrators is far messier than if they had just handled this the way they should have in the beginning. I hope the next investigation is into the abject failure of the London Police.

What Steve said about Tyler Bozak I think is right on the money. Players are too often signed for the job and the role they are going to take, this is an example of Darnell Nurse. In no way is he worth 9.25m but the GM went up to him and said ‘you’re going to be our number 1 guy who plays the most minutes and the hardest minutes for the next 8 years’. When you think of it like that and the role they take it makes sense.

Canucks are 9-1-1 in January, they went back to the Lotto line (that has existed since the Travis Green days btw) after their one regulation loss just to switch things up the last 2 weeks and now they're going back to the lines they've used all season.
It's not a big deal, Tocchet is trying different things, he split Hughes-Hronek and played Hughes with Myers on the top pair vs Chicago for example.
Pretty sure the Houston Aeros were one of the more popular/successful teams in the WHA. They had the Howe’s at one point.
