I really think Torts might have been the best thing for Frost’s career.

Idk wat it is so im assuming that he’s 2nd in Stanley Cup Final %

All the folks that were freaking out and wondering why Torts was being so hard on frost, and asking what in the world he was doing a few months back?

This. This is what he was doing.

  4. I hated on Torts in the beginning of the season because of how he’s handled Frost, but in all reality he’s exactly what Frost needed it looks like.

  5. Yeah hes genuinely looked phenomenal. They arent just secondary assists and points largely from big role. They are almost all primary points and him standing out nearly every game with his skating and chance creation.

And he could easily have far more points if his teammates had better finishing.

This recent Frost is above the Frost that scored at 60+ point top line 5v5 rate over last 50 games last year.

This guy is actually driving and creating plays at high rate.

I know its a small sample size but it seems like Frost has finally hit that next level.

My only concern is if Torts benches him again if he slows down or has an game or two. That would drive me crazy.

Anyone giving torts credit for frost succeeding in spite of him has drank way too much of the flyers kool-aid

Torts has been beyond amazing for this team

  8. He had 40 points in the last 54 games of last season. Maybe Tortorella is just an unhelpful weirdo who plays pointless mind games?

And his defensive stats aren’t too bad either. Sure he has a lazy giveaway here or there but otherwise he’s really holding his own all over the ice. Great to see.

As soon as Danny said “keep my number” I knew he’d stick around.
