Great to see the team come back in the 3rd. Haven’t seen them in that scenario that much this year. Nice to know they can get to it. OT was meh, I’m not enjoying 3-on-3 as much anymore. A rule change I’m sure is incoming.
Other than that, missed call in OT but we probably licked in getting that point anyways.
Someone must have placed a big bet on Canucks winning when odds were garbage. League put the call into the refs to make sure Blues won that OT.

Kuz in OT kinda lost in no man’s land on the winner but he didn’t see Peterson get cross checked and he was covering his man from a pass, I don’t like the non call but it is what it is, can’t expect the calls

Zero consistency with the refs, watching the Leafs game tonight the refs were calling penalties late third and OT. How many times have we seen the canucks get called for ticky tack cross checks? I seriously don’t know what is going to be called game to game.
Not a big deal, but if the refs were on their game, they should have called 2 for cross checking and 2 for embellishment. Shitty way to end the game. This way they would have kept playing.
If that isn’t fucking interference, I have no idea what is.

I think the no call was a make up for kuzy getting away with the (very minor) slash on Hofer before he got cross checked.

Gonna get downvoted for this but instead of focusing on getting a call from the ref, Pettersson’s first thought should have been to pop straight back up on both skates to get to the shooter before he had the puck. He looked really lazy in getting back up on his skates, and I just dont believe that he didnt have it in him to have a little more pep in his step in a tight situation.
I’m happy we at least got a point. And good on Suter with the hatty.

Out shot the blues 2:1. If an occasional ot loss is what pdo regression looks like, then we’re fine.
Missed the game, watched the highlights. It was all “Hofer glove save!!!” How does Suter get a hat trick? By not shooting at the glove. Hronek breakaway in OT? Goes glove and gets stuffed.

I was super pissed Petey just chilled and looked at the ref while his guy scored but then I realized he was probably straight gassed and it was taking all his energy to just get up which makes sense. He was at the end of the shift.
Super frustrating that you can interfere like that with no penalty. That was 💯 what aloud him to score. If I was Petey I would go cross check schenn in the face after that one. They won’t suspend a star
