Jiricek is the only waivers-exempt Dman that we can send down. He will be the first man called up if there is an injury or a trade. Otherwise we might lose one of the other aforementioned defensemen for free which would truly be asset mismanagementÂ

Jiricek needs to be papered to the AHL at least by the trade deadline so he can be on the Monsters roster for their playoff run. He should be getting accustomed to be playing for them anyway.
We sadly have to showcase whatever dregs we have left on our blueline to ship them off. Once that ends, he can come back next season and be the guy. No sense in really bouncing him back and forth.

Jiricek said he wants to play in the NHL. Jarmo has told him to get a house in Columbus and then 2 days later sends him down. And now he’s the first dman we send down again.
I’d rather we send Peeke or Bean down, make them clear waivers. If they don’t they don’t, the most we’re probably gonna get is a late round pick and I’m fine forfeiting that.

Jiricek is not good enough in the nhl yet, he should be in Cleveland. Needs to figure out gap control and how to play within a system.
