Our media is so fuckin’ ass it’s not even funny. And he’s spot on. They’re looking for something to be negative about cause the team has been on hot.

Love it. Vancouver media loves any negative story they can blow up

Is it my headphones or is this ridiculously quiet

It would be nice if you can hear what the hell he’s saying

Sports media loves doing this shit. Good on him.

It’s good he is sticking up for Petterson.

  7. Tocchet probably thinks things are out of proportion in a variety of capacities… financial declarations at the border, who bet on what when, comments on Twitter about women…

  8. One of the reporters made the point it was just the headline of an article. The article was on sportsnet, so the headline was probably written by someone in Toronto that wasn’t in the room and didn’t have the context of the comments.

The canadian sports media is the worst. Every canadian team is under the microscope. If a player has a bad game or two. The media jumps on them like jackals. No wonder players want to play in markets with less media presence. They can forget about yesterday and focus on tomorrow’s game. Look at Samsonov, he got so in his own head because of the media. He hasn’t forgotten how to play. Also what other sport let’s reporters into the locker room. All the other big sports. Reporters need to be banded from the locker rooms in the NHL.

I think I take my team’s media for granted.

God damn the Canadian teams get ragged on. DET went through what, 7 years of shite? And never once had a media situation anything close to what the Canadian teams/players/coaches have to deal with every season, *and that is when they are winning!*
