The New Jersey Devils played against the Carolina Hurricanes for the first time since game five of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, similar to game five, the Devils dropped this matchup in Raleigh. Justin Dowling scored his first goal as a Devil and helped lead the charge in the third period. But, there were too many defensive lapses yet again. Lindy Ruff got injured in the second period (Yes, you read the correctly). This team might be cursed due to all of the injuries that they’ve had to deal with.

The Devils should consider players like Hague, Zadorov, Lauzon, Mikkola, Sissons, Sherwood, and Trenin.
Not sure what’s Fitz thinking in terms of how he sees this season but if seriously wants this team to make a meaningful push to get into the playoffs and make it to at least the 2nd round, then he needs to make some moves asap for a goalie or solid defensemen.
We are basically an AHL team, we are feeling the losses here so I give a lot of leeway. BUT that said, no matter if we are full roster, or AHL due to injuries, the fact that we seem to come out soft time after time (and have for years) is REALLY biting us in the ass…. (PS, as to Luke H, he's a great player, but he is a turnover MACHINE)
This season is DONE!
Let the kiddos play, make mistakes and hopefully learn from those mistakes. I HATE the injuries excuse, and the Jack Hughes excuse. It’s the system that they try to play! Which means this is a coaching issue!
If we were plying the trap With JL behind the bench, this team would be top 5 in the League.
Just a FYI, the 5 guys accused of rape have a video of the girl saying she was fine having sex with all 5 guys. That is why they probably were never charged. She got her payday with $3 million settlement so she was happy. This is another Matt Adair case where a girl has sex with a bunch of pro athletes and then cries rape to get paid!
