It’s sucks so much, by all accounts he worked his ass off this summer too. Dude was bigger and faster than he’s ever been and was primed for a huge season. I’m really hoping this isn’t the end.

That was the best shift from that line, ever…
Really sad situation all around

This is just sad to watch now. Nothing in hockey should be his focus. He needs to focus on his health and then have some deep thoughts a discussions about hockey once he is better

Oh Filda, this hurts 🙁

You know… Fil is young enough that he might still be okay, but it looks like he’s gonna need to step away from hockey for a while. Crosby’s longest struggle with concussion symptoms, at pretty much the same age as Chytil, kept him out of the game for most of a full calendar year, from January 2011 to January 2012. There were a lot of good days and bad days in between. From an article in The Athletic:

>Crosby would feel like himself for a stretch of days, dominating practices and making some observers wonder why he wasn’t yet playing in games. Then, one morning, he’d be taking a shower and would be struck with a headache. And it was back to square one. > >Crosby seemed to work his way through the concussion. One day in Denver, long after practice had ended, **Crosby nearly made himself sick on the ice while working out by himself. He just stayed on his right knee for 10 minutes gathering himself.**

The news at practice today made me think of that bolded last line.

So upset for this guy. 24 years old.
Hope we let him in as an advisor or something just to keep him on payroll

Can we not eulogize this poor kid and let him recover how he and the medical staff think is best?
