With the Oilers winning their 15th game in a row on Thursday, Matt and Blake discuss who the better team is right now: the Vancouver Canucks or the Edmonton Oilers? We also discuss Rick Tocchet’s comments in the media regarding Elias Pettersson and how they were supposedly twisted out of context. Later on, NHL insider Frank Seravalli joins to give us the latest rumblings around the Canucks and the NHL.

It now looks like Edmonton is the oilers, first six weeks of the season they were the coilers.
Presently, a historic streak and look like a playoff team. But what team.
Canucks have not lost three in a row all season.
Oilers are better now, and they're licking their chops waiting for a chance to prove that, after shameful start
With utmost respect to you media guys, don't pretend like you don't ask stupid questions, Vancouver has THE WORST wannabe youtube peanut gallery commentators.
It’s just u guys who’s turning on petey, not the fans.
Take a look at the teams the Oilers have beat in this streak. Vast majority middle to bottom teams.
I disagree about the fans turning on Pettersson. What some fans have said is that if he wants to much they should trade him, thats it. As for signing or not I have two comments, one, he said that he would discuss it after the season and he is sticking to that, so whats the problem? Secondly, sure they are playing good and much better than expected but this could be a flash in the pan, look at the bubble and everyone said it could only go up, and then we had three years of misery. So I dont think this season determines everything even if it is an important step, its more if he commits will they be good for the years he signs? My best bet is he sign for three years at 12,something and becomes UFA when Hughes is, they do after all have the same agent.
As for the Mickheyev thing, its pretty standard that a guy needs a season to come back from that kind of injury, which begs the question that a lot of people have asked, why didnt they shut him down when it happened?
Anyone who NEEDS Petterson to sign a contract asap are so dumb. The guy CLEARLY stated multiple times he wants to wait until the off season, it's his contract, let him do what he wants and stop crying as if this is him saying he hates Vancouver in some way. Enjoy this historic year for the team and stop constantly digging up negativity out of nowhere
Wouldn’t it be interesting if they sign Monaghan and Triamkin. Toughness and size
25:50 TBH, I am scared of any of the strong teams in the playoffs… because I'm more worried to find out if this version of Canucks are legit or not, and the playoffs are a complete different beast from reg season.
