January 27, 2024: New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba has been suspended two games by the NHL’s Department of Player Safety for elbowing Pavel Dorofyev of the Vegas Golden Knights.

  1. The Fact that a player is injured or not should not impact the duration of the suspension. Eveb if the player is not injured, he could have been because of the head shot. Player ''Safety'' is more safety of their wakkets than their health imo

  2. He didn't snap his elbow forward, it was a follow through. It just went down after he went for the puck with his stick, Dorofeyev was just in a bad position. Trouba wasn't even looking. Terrible take
