Add another one to his other eye and you get Matheson in overtime

Honestly never noticed this until people started point it out here, and now that’s all I see. Matheson looks off slaf almost every single time

Lol today I remember that last pp where he took a crappy shot when slaf was open to the right.

I kinda just want to trade him. He just doesn’t help with players like Slaf, he makes costly mistakes, but his upside would bring in value. It’ll also free up space on LHD.

Petry did the same thing with Cole. Matheson at least is shooting one-timers off the point to create an illusion of a threat and trying to open up the play. Slaf is finding his way on the PP, and I’m happy it’s not as a bumper or front net guy just because he is big.

It’s because Slaf can’t shoot or one-time yet

He just watched the Avengers movie and can’t get the “ON YOUR LEFT” Captain America line out of his head.

Management to Matheson: “we want this guy on a sweetheart deal so try not to help him get too many points, alright?”

Matheson dons his eye patch: “aye, aye, Captain”

Sigh I’m sick of this slander. Understand this folks, Matheson is a fantastic dman, I understand he makes mistakes. But the reality is this. He should be over Devon Toews. He’s being forced to be our number 1 and even so he still is blowing his career numbers out of the water so yes he makes mistakes but he also explodes and makes fantastic plays

You guys are straight up in denial thinking we should trade for chips. You need vets, without this guy our powerplay is much worse

I don’t like his once a game risky pass across the blue line, resulting in an odd man rush. He’s darn good, but not a real QB. But, no worries, we have one or two waiting in the wings.
