I need to comment on that Patterson "brutal giveaway" . I urge people to watch that play again. Boeser gave the puck back to Patterson in a position where there was nothing he could do with it. there was one blue jacket right in front of him so there was nowhere for him to go that way. If he tried to send it across ice there was a Columbus player right there ready to take it on a breakaway. So Petey tried to force it through but unfortunately he lost that battle. that was not a "brutal giveaway". I actually blame Boeser for putting him in that position
