The Chicago Blackhawks have made a few roster moves just before they take their holidays before the NHL All-Star break. Louis Crevier and Cole Guttman have both been sent to the AHL Rockford IceHogs. Many people are questioning the decision to send Cole Guttman to the AHL after playing very well in his brief time in the NHL. Landon Slaggert has informed the media that he intends to sign with the Blackhawks at the end of his college season with Notre Dame. The former 3rd round pick and assistant captain for Notre Dame chose to spend his senior year with the college leading many people to wonder if he would head to free agency instead of singing with the Blackhawks at all. Slaggert made it clear his intentions are to sign with the Blackhawks as he thinks its the right spot for him.
Kirk Day breaks down the Blackhawks roster moves heading into the All-Star break, as well as a sneaky signing the Blackhawks are set to make at the end of the season with a prospect.
