Knocked off Puljujarvi off of the “players always attached to Canes rumors” list last year. Maybe Lindholm is this year? Laine is in the player assistance program.
He hasn’t been great this year but I’d love to give him a shot. With KK struggling, a potential top 6 center would be huge for us. Probably not a huge price either given the lack of production this year + pending UFA
That said I’m guessing Boston, NY, or Colorado gets him. Those are the teams I’ve seen linked to him the most and all of them are run by GMs far more likely to overpay.
