  1. Malkin needs less responsibility and needs to move to the wing. A new 2c or eller if we can't get a new c needs to be inserted. Malkin is still a great player but he needs to be used correctly. See jeff carter from last year to this year. He has been used correctly and has been good in his role this year compared to his role from last year. If things don't change with Malkins role he could end up hurting the team and that would be on coaching as much as player imo.
**this is not a malkin bash either. Not every player can sustain a crosby level their whole career.

  2. You dont always have to march the PP1 unit out there first every time either, IF PP2 becomes the hotter of the two PPs. I think this move creates healthy competition. 65 and 71 are prideful guys. theyll want to prove themselves a worthy unit if not the better unit. Are they capable? That remains to be seen. The potential is there for sure but its possible their time has passed.

  3. I think Dubas needs to be aggressive and make some move? I don't know what move…..Buy/Sell ??? This is "supposedly" his team, right???🤔

  4. I think they can sustain having two "top line" units PP1/PP2. In past games, the opp PK seems to relax after PP1 left ice, but Canadiens seemed PK had to deal with PP2 Malkin threat. I think it could work, similar to goalie battle all season
