I know that it takes a bit to learn the speed and footing of the NHL game, and he does make some mistakes for a young guy, but it's impossible to believe that Andrew Peeke is better than him at this point to warrant more minutes.
I get his statement about nemec but the blackhawks have absolutely nothing on D to play on the PP. The D core is Korchinski, Jones, Murphy, Tinordi and vlasic. That other spot it open. They have NOTHING outside of Korch and Jones
If Jiricek is back in the NHL this season, then Jarmo has lost a battle. The goal is to keep him under 40 games. On June 30, 2030 Jiricek will be 26 years old. This is exactly what you'd expect from a douchebag like Jarmo, just making sure the kid doesn't hit free agency a year early.

A 20 year old complaining about ice time/ being sent to the AHL, reminds me a lot of Jonathan Drouin with his time in Tampa Bay. And we know how that ended. Hopefully things can straighten out with him in Columbus. This is the last thing they need

This has me wondering what his value should be! With this report and his unhappiness I can’t see him fetching much more than Gauthier did.
