Not sure we should make any significant moves this year, they're just not deep enough to make any waves in the playoffs. Wait until JT's contract gets redone, then spend that extra coin. Anything that gets done this year is probably going to be an expensive bandaid.

None of those names are attractive pieces. Leafs need to lay low this deadline and add at next year's deadline, presuming they will be a better team next year.
Make trade for couple years out. Maybe Montreal will play. Brodie, minten, 2 firsts for Matheason and Anderson.

You really think Brad Treliving will trade for Monahan when he traded Monahan + a first last year to the Canadiens as a cap dump??
Monahan makes sense which means Treleving will pass.

Leafs / Habs will never make a trade . Leafs are done this season.
This team is not even close to being a contender and shouldn't waste assets. None of these moves you have talked about make any difference except the leafs lose assets and still get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Florida or Boston is going to steam role the leafs. These players should not be back next season Gio, Brodie, Kampf, Gregor. Jarnkrok, Liljegren, Domi, Robertson and Bertuzzi need the proper guys with them if they are on the team next season. Keefe must be gone before next season.
Lyubushkin is not getting better than a 3rd and 5th.
