Aw. Awesome of the Jets to get involved there. Kids in minor hockey are all required to wear neck guards and have for some time so hopefully this kind of hockey tragedy will be a thing of the past soon.
On a side bar, one of the linked articles talked about Jake Guentzel possibly being shopped around since he’s a UFA this summer. Doesn’t play center(LW) but would still look awful good in Jets blue. The ask sounds as big as for PLD but Jake is 30 in October. We have some current prospects and an extra 2nd round pick burning a hole; just don’t touch McGroarty or Lambert.
