Rishaug: ‘Knoblauch’s fingerprints are all over Oilers’ turnaround’

Ryan Rishaug joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss the Oilers winning a franchise record 16 straight games, Stuart Skinner’s exceptional play on that stretch, the credit Kris Knoblauch deserves for the turnaround, whether they should be considered Stanley Cup contenders again, the addition of Corey Perry, and much more.

  1. This man will win the jack adams award. Everyone knew that edmonton was a good team and would bounce back from their rough start. But to take over an already great team and continue to elevate them…its more impressivethan toccet and vancouvers turn around.

  2. Pittsburgh went from last to new coach (Mike Sullivan) hot streak in Dec/Jan and won the Cup. STL went from last and then new coach (Craig Berube) hot streak in dec/jan to win the cup. Oilers went from last and then new coach (Knoblauch) in dec/jan hot streak….so guess who is going to win the cup this year? I'm too smart for this. I hate being right all the time.

  3. honestly, if the oilers have learnt how to defend properly, they might’ve become a legitimate threat for the cup
