Jeff Paterson is a the most negative media reporter ever, he’s always focuses on the downside. The canucks could win the Stanley Cup and he would say “Why didn’t they sweep the finals in 4 games”

I'm so sick and tired of Paterson's negativity that I'm at the point of tuning him out entirely. At least when the team was struggling you could justify being negative, but can we not allow ourselves to enjoy this incredible season a little??
Yes, Mikheyev is playing poorly. It does not mean we need to replace him. He's proven to be effective with Petey in the past and there's no reason to believe he can't find his game. I believe his game is impacted by carrying Kuzmenko defensively/positionally rather than being able to focus on doing his job. I love Kuzy's talent and personality, but at this point it is hard to see him being a Tocchet type of player, although I hope I'm wrong.
The Canucks played a lot of ugly road style wins during this last home stand. The 2011 Canucks were a top six forward short too and didn't have any offensive defencemen that were anywhere close to what the Canucks have in Hughes or Hronek.
