Fuzzy from upland, can the rookies turn the season around for the kings after the all star break?
I dont know much about either goalie but I do like the feeling of riddich in net, he looks a little more focused and quick than talbot. Kopi has def slowed down especially compared to last season however i feel its more of a team issue. Last game against blues i thought kopi looked great, the whole team did honestly, it just wasnt enough. They never hold onto leads. The passing was much better and more dialed in. I hope they figure this out and get out of this funk. If we had iafallo, vilardi, kempe, kopi, and fiala all together i think we would have been more fluid than with dubois. I hate to hate on the coach or new players but something def needs to change. more sick of blake
I'm officially sick of it. If Blake doesn't see that the coach needs to go, then the owner needs to step in and remove them both. Blake has done more than enough to take the heat for this too.
When are we going to realize that Laferriere is a minor leaguer?
I watched the Sunday Pacific Time Kings-Blues’ game with my interest in the Kings’ slide. Yes with respect to that game I was a neutral observer even with a pro-Blues‘ TV broadcast from Bally Sports transmitted via NHL Centre Ice. These Kings have been in such freefall, and the Oilers such big risers, that quite possibly the next playoff series the Kings win won’t be until next season at the earliest.
Imma just tell you Eddie that hole locker room is broken they need a coaching change ASAP

There is no sense in talking about these games as if everything is normal and the Kings are just a little off; or a lineup change "could be what they need". They are not playing normally, where they just need a tweak here and some luck there. They are deflated and have barely moments of effort and focus. There is a reason that two of their best players missed wide open nets, and it's not the hockey gods. This coach obviously has no idea how to bring pro athletes back or get them refocused. He said as much the other day when he said he's been doing everything he can think of, it's not worked and he is just going to keep trying the same things. This team was tearing it up, even when they were (of course) getting nothing from Dubois. They are obviously capable of being great. But they are so far from good, so far from normal hockey, that it is equally obvious that this is about coaching, not X's and O's or personnel changes. The worst teams in the league don't lose 14 of 16. Until they clean out the coach and front office, nothing will change and there is no point in trying to analyze this as if all is normal and just not quite going their way.

I think Dubois is the bulk of the problem, he’s not a leader, nor a playmaker, a -16, he never smiles, never “has fun” and it’s effecting everyone else… depressing people drag down those around them…

That loss stung deep.
It takes effort to come up short game after game having built a solid record prior. Winning became devalued and it’s a reflection on the team no longer desiring to play together. There must be a player issue that gets highlighted continually. Winnipeg had this last season. After A few players gone..including PLD..he might not have been the problem but several of the players decided to stay and they added Kings guys..something clicked and it’s been more harmonious since. GM worked on things.

Hey Eddie, people give up too early. Obviously it’s a bit worse this year but in 2014 before the Olympic break I believe the kings were 2-9. We all know how that turned out. Also as far as PLD while he hasn’t been worth 8M so far he has definitely become a scapegoat. Lots of players have a rough start with a team and turn it around. For example James Neal his first year in Pittsburgh. I think PLD will become that 60-70 point guy and while he will never be the next Kopitar, this season is the low. Here’s yo hoping we have a 2014 like turnaround.

I can't believe this Eddie guy how he points out the players that he seems to think are doing a good job…looking in from the outside the whole team is shit…you don't lose this many games playing the right way….I think you need to come down on these players and say it like it is…. go back and look at Edmonton podcasts when they were losing the media was on them big time wouldn't let them rest until something happened . What happened was they fired the coach sooner rather that later…I think kings waited to long now look at them. As much as I hate LA I would have loved to see LA Edmonton in playoffs
