3 out of the 7 teams(leafs, Panthers, bolts) in the Atlantic have a 3+ game winning streak while 3 others have a 2+ (wings, bruins, sabres)game winning streak lmao this division is tough as nails

yeah it’s going to be very tight at the end, which might actually keep the guys on their toes leading up to the playoffs.

Impossible to do what the Oilers are doing when you’re in this division.

The whole conference is insane compared to the west like the Blue Jackets, Sens and Habs are not even that bad compared to the Ducks, Sharks and Blackhawks.
Four east teams also would be 3 points or less away from a wildcard spot if they were in the west.

Sheesh! Look at those home records at the bottom.

At this point I think we’d be better off in a wild card slot. Let Tampa and Florida destroy eachother in the first round.

Leafs are better on the road.

Our home record is total dogshit. I hope we don’t get home ice. Last year we only won one playoff game on home ice.

Sens fans were talking a lot of smack in the offseason

This division is nasty. I saw the graphical standings today said the atlantic are a net +26 point differential against all other divisions combined. We constantly complain that when Atlantic teams play each other it goes to OT and no one gains ground, the division also wins games outside so you cant gain ground there.

We really don’t help ourselves though

Games against these top 6 are going to be more important than ever

Just gotta make it in and then it’s 90% luck and reffing 👌👌👌

And if you have a positive goal differential good chance you make it to the playoffs… D wins cups

I hope we get the wildcard and play the metro

Right, us Habs are elite 😎😎😎

If the Leafs were in any other division, they would have a minimum 3 division titles over the past 6 years
The Leafs have zero (0) division titles in the last 6 years, save for the Canadian Division (which was a one year thing/not a real division)

the craziest part about this whole chart is that Montreal hasn’t won a game at home all season.
fitchiestofbuckers
Wait, the Habs haven’t won at home this year? No way???

Tell me again how next year will be the year Boston falls off.
Honestly, I’m real tired of hearing it. And you know why they never fall off? Because there’s a team culture that everyone buys into, they have an outstanding coach, a great D corps and two solid goaltenders.
We can be as happy with these wins over the Jets as we want, but the reality is we are nowhere near that level in any of those categories. And if you want to add one more reason for their success that we don’t and never will have, [well….](https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/bruins)
I’m not trying to be negative to start this Monday morning, but it’s fucking depressing to be Boston’s bitch

Damn… Tampa 8-2-0. They’re ramping up.
And then there was Ottawa and Montreal
SCF prediction > Oilers vs. The Atlantic
