  1. Hi, Josh, Jesse & Friends.
I hope you’re all doing great. I’m doing better. I’ve been trying to find any video where Gallagher gives any kind of explanation about the elbowing incident. I haven’t found anything. Not even an apology. I really hope it’s just me not having enough time to search because of my medication problems right now. I’m, still sleeping around 20 hours a day. If it wasn’t for YouTube notifications, I’d probably never wake up to post. When I watch a game I have to set my timer every 15 minutes in case I fall asleep. Hahaha! 😂 So if anyone has heard anything. Can you please tell me? I really need to know what was going through his mind. 🤔 As usual I’m weird, and loving it. Lol! But, I really do want to hear from him. Have a great day or night, all. You’re, all the best! Even if I totally disagree with you sometimes. As long as your nice about it. GHG!! 🤪👊🏻💙

  2. II like our Juraj Slafkovsky so therefore I like also Habs and became a big fan of them, I watching almost every match with Habs, but as it's start almost always at 1:00 AM not always I have chance to watch because I have to go to the work 🙂 Slaf and Habs have great future, wish you all the best espcially healt from Banska Bystrica in Slovakia 🙂

  3. Slaf is really impressed me I think what holding him back pts wise is his teammates he is a really good passer he shows me that he has a elite mind and if he played with say Matthew’s he would have over 50 pts

  4. I think if Monahan agrees to a 4.5 mil AAV for 4 years it will be a great asset as the Habs need a veteran to help the young forwards to develop. Btw you haven't mentioned the weekend Jacob Fowler had vs BU. 2 – 0 with great stats and some top saves that would make the Top 10 highlight reel in the NHL.

  5. There is nothing shocking about this news. We already knew slaf has been playing well and dubs hasn't…sigh

  6. 5 x 5 is too much. Let him go and you can get him later when the next team buys him out. 3 year, 4 million would be my max for him.

  7. With the lack of good forward prospects in the system and the lack of good forward veterans we should really try to keep him!!! He's exactly the type of player that could guide the young forwards that are coming in the next 1-2 years (Beck, Mesar, Roy) and it would take us out of the rebuilding phase faster.

  8. well, the HABS, ask Caufield to be more defensive
and Xhekaj to be less aggressive/ more defensive

who knows what they are going to ask Maillou and Hutson

  9. Habs signing Monahan would be the worst thing they could do. How long do you think his hips are going to last? Many hockey players are done when they hit their early 30s, how much more so when they have had major surgeries. Yes he is playing very good right now, and he is driven. He might have another yr or 2 at most, then its downhill for the last 2-3yrs of his 5yr contract, and then what? Are the Habs winning the cup next year or the year after that? NO, so when they "Maybe" have hopes in 3-4yrs from now, we have another big contract (after Gallagher) to buy out? What are people thinking. Monahan needs to go to a team ready to win now.

  10. Even when Sean was injured often thru playoffs and play thru them . He still had more points than Johnny also as a rookie he had 22 goals when Johnny wasn’t on the team

  11. Maybe a good middle ground for all concerned would be 3 years at 7 million. He's well worth it, and the Canadiens would have a tremendous asset to help them transition to full contention.

  12. Well, we are tied up with Anderson and Gallagher for another 3–4 years so unless they can move someone like Anderson it will be tough to re-sign Monahan. This being said, I like the idea of trading him to NYR in exchange of Kappo Kakko, who is a RFA at the end of the season, and the NYR 2024 second round pick. We could then offer him a similar deal as Newhook for 3 years which will allow him to grow to his potential over that time. A Slaf—Dach—Kakko line could be menacing if they gel. Thoughts?

  13. can't look at Monahan signing with the Habs in isolation…he is prone to injury and maybe he has just been lucky so far this year that he is not hurt. Habs will be rolling and competitive in about 3 years…be realistic here. Monahan will be at the tail end of his career IF he is not hurt badly again by then. He might be great for the young guys coming up but his value is now and I am sure they can find a more reliable, proven healthy veteran that can help the team. Only thing that makes sense is maybe a 2 year contract and pay him a bit extra like $6 million/year

  14. @user hahahahahaha Matthews would help Slav get more points? Hahahahahaha.,,you mean the same guy who has half as many assists than goals…..that guy? Hahahaha…if he didnt have Marner, he would have the same amount of goals as he has assists…..thanks for the laugh…..

  15. I said no to PLD last year. We know his past B.S. A bullet we did dodge. These guys in MTL know what they were doing in passing on PLD for what he wanted. I want Toronto to trade for him. Yes HAHA. GO SLAF GO! GO HABS GO! Logan Mallioux da man. Don't hate the boy for getting lucky.

  16. Let’s keep in mind it’s his first yr in LA so I’ll wait tell next yr before we say he’s struggling. But I’m glad we didn’t sign for that.

  17. They’re saying Mathews would finish slafs plays. Slaf would be the one making the pass, Mathews would score the goal. Meaning slaf would get a point.
So not sure what Mathews assists has to do with it?

  18. I would start this discussion by standing in the future at the time when we want the Habs to hit their window for being a top 5 team in the league: The window would start in 3 years and peak in 5. What does the center line looks like then? To me, it is Suzuki, Dach, Evans on a fourth line, and the center we should draft in the coming 2024 draft. We will probably draft between 5 and 10 on a defensemen heavy draft. Aside from the defensemen, there are several centers who will most likely have a great NHL career: 1. If we are exceptionally lucky and pick 1, our team is instantly transformed with Celebrini being a bona fide start #1 center in 3 years. 2. If we pick anywhere between #2 and #5, chances are decent that the big skilled center Lindstrom will be available: pick him! He co0uld easily turn out as a #1 or #1b center with a few years of development. 3. If we pick between 5 and 10, there are a couple of excellent options: Helenius, a young Fin with lots of skills (Koivu people!) and Catton, very skilled as well. Both potential to be at least strong #3 centers. Another center to keep an eye on is Tij Iginla the son of Jerome. The last option is to pick a Defenceman with a #2 or #3 pick if one is standing out by draft day, potentially for now Silayev, and trade one of our young stellar D for a young stellar center.

  19. At lesat the Kings have a big chunk of PLD's salary paid for next year with the money Quebec is giving the Kings to play meaningless games at the Coloisee

  20. Monahan way more worth it than Gallagher. Gallagher is a one dimensional player who has already lost what made him worth his paycheck. Monahan is more of a swiss army knife that can be used up and down the lineup, so even as he slows down or has to change his game, he’s a very smart player and can still be used whether for faceoffs, wing or center, in front of the net or special teams regardless. Plus he’s the real veteran presence you need. No offence, but Gallagher, Savard, Matheson dont look like cement grounded veterans put there. A lot of sloppy play. Monahan is consistent, playing the right way, and producing the right way. You rarely say his name in conjunction with a turnover or a mistake, whereas i cant say the same for the other three.

  21. Monahan I wouldn't sign him for more than 3 years for 4.5 million. But I would flip him for draft capital and good young prospect and see where he is at towards end of season. He does have alot of wear and tear like Gallagher who's contract is an albatross

  22. Without the off ice issues at the time , where do you guys think Logan would of been drafted ? Top 15?
