The right result based on performance. Baffled by a couple of things though. Werner runs ignored so many times (not that he did much when passed to anyway) and Dragusin kept on the bench with Hojbjerg having an awful second half. Johnson is not PL level. Our front three looked toothless. Ange still with an awful lot of work to do.
The manager is to blame ..sent the players on holiday they just came back this week for an important and it showed
I think having one shot on goal at home against anyone is pretty obvious it was a poor performance. Very disappointing.

Really disappointed with that result. We went out with a wimper. The front 3 were dreadful and we hardly created anything. Only 1 shot on goal at home is unacceptable. It’s not even like city were that good we just gifted them the win. We can make excuses for the goal but we didn’t deserve anything from that game. I also thought we made subs way too late. That front 3 worry me I think we need to buy another forward. A bad day at the office

Well at least fans can't blame Emerson for the defeat.
Ange can play all the pretty football he wants, but if the club is going to give him subpar attackers, he'll never win anything at Spurs. Nusa, for example, might be a top player someday, but he wont be for a few seasons. They have to bring in at least 1 top player to help Son score goals. Kvicha, Leao or someone of that level. Look at all the wages they've cleared off the books in the last 6 months. Surely they could whack down 80-100m on a top player and offer wages around 250k a week?
I don't see Ange jumping at another opportunity after 1 season but if he's ambitious and doesn't get the backing, I could see him leave after next season if a bigger club wants him.
The cup losses dont even faze me anymore. At least it was to the best team in the country and not a championship team.
