Frank Seravalli on the Oilers trade deadline plans
Daily Faceoff insider Frank Seravalli joins Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin to discuss the Oilers plans at the deadline, the likelihood of Marc-Andre Fleury moving, and more
Its easy guys. Hockey is the MOST expensive sport to play. Soccer for instance all you need is a ball. Goalie’s equipment is double the cost of players plus all expenses related to the sport like travel accommodation and food its just out of reach for most people. Kapeasch
Why would we want to off load Connor brown?…he’s a very good defensive player and great on the pk…he’s going to start scoring soon and then that contract will be earned!
Oilers shouldn't be worried about "breaking chemistry" or "trading friends". If the Oilers can get an upgrade over Janmark, Ceci, Kulak, Brown, etc then they SHOULD do it no questions asked. If the Oilers' goal this year was to make friends instead of win cups then they're playing in the wrong league. The Oilers gave Kassian that awful contract and signed Brown cause of their "chemistry with McDavid" plus they already have his agent as the CEO and his junior coach as the Head Coach. The Oilers should absolute NOT use "how close are they to McDavid?" as merit for who should stay and who should get traded.
Flower and maroon in a package deal from Minnesota. Perfect backup/mentor for skinner. And pat maroon and corey perry in the bottom 6. That would be tough to play against.
Playing goalie is just too expensive, ESPECIALLY in Canada. Hockey is already ridiculously expensive for skaters and goalies equipment is just too expensive for parents to be able to have their kid play as a tender.

Canadian government needs to make special subsidies geared toward hockey goalies.
Hockey is very expensive as far as sports go. And canadians are struggling financially right now and for the foreseeable future.
We'll probably take some steps back before we can go forward at this point. Especially if theres no changes with canadas trajectory.
Get rid of Campbell 1st
Canadian hockey needs to develop a NDTP program like the US. Iron sharpens Iron.
Buddy's out to lunch on Skinner. He's obviously not watching.
No mention to the flower may be old but is still a top tender
Look at the bruins last year. Messed with winning formula. Out in 1st round.

I agree with Frank about Ceci being just as good as walker….it’s not worth a trade there…Colton parayko would be a different story!
If Edmonton picks up Maroon at the trade deadline we will have the most insanely playoff built middle six with Kane, Perry and Maroon!
If Fuck Around And Find Out Was A Team!!!

Adin Hill, Skinner, Jarry. That’s not bad at all actually. Skinner’s doubters will fade into the hedge if he keeps these numbers up over the season.
Frank's drunk if he doesn't think Skinners not in top 5. Wake tf up and watch his games ffs. Best goalie in league last two months.
The Oilers locker room can handle a lot, I suppose. But a Jordan Binnington might be a bit too much…
