Let’s talk football shall we uh before we go into the ma preview obviously everyone’s read this by now but um Camille con has actually joined Bristol Rovers from gby town for an undisclosed fee um so that happened earlier uh good luck to Camille hopefully um the move turns out well of

Him and uh uh pleased that we could be involved in his development and six months his time but Camille heads to Bristol rivers with everyone’s uh best wishes at Grimsby Town um despite see him go so soon uh but there was no doubt at some

Point he was he was uh going to be heading high pyamid and he’s done that probably a little bit earlier than we we all expected uh all wanted but expected so good luck to Camille um bu rers have got a a good young developing talent and obviously an undisclosed

Fee uh but I’m sure we’ll be making some some decent money on that ourselves but once again good luck to the con and uh hopefully the move for him goes well and he show people what it’s all about and now it’s about us and we go into the weekend game against TR

Rovers um grinby obviously in in in different form uh one win from the last five games one draw and three defeats um drum two defeats uh from five three wins as well three straight wins um so we’re kind of in different form and um to be honest we Trum have the

Upper upper hand overall in the head to head so me they’ve won 45% of the games Grimsby won 27% um which you know um it’s quite a weak uh quite a weak turn I mean if we look at it really uh the last 11 matches that grinby and try

Have played against each other Grimsby have only won three theyve Drew three and they’ve lost five with a aggregate score of 13 to 22 um so TR are really are the the the favored side and um on past onast results um their favorite to to do it and U you know uh GS

Be I said I’ve got um a good thing but if we take the last six results well last seven results between the two really yeah we can see that uh Grims being last got a win over trir um uh in uh December of 22 um when they won

21 at blumber Park so the last time we played Trum me at blumber Park we actually got the win thankfully uh but the last seven Grimsby have only won two of them in the last seven games uh you know um obviously the last game came uh a two- all

Draw U obviously M Pik and and Danny Rose scored the two goals that day in the last fixture but prior to that um before the 22 win um in 2021 uh the game at bu Park ended nil nil while try won 5 nil uh home to Grimsby and

Then also after the after the win in December in April of uh this year um trir uh beat GS be 2il at trir so you the form would not near really be on Gins side and obviously going into tomorrow obviously with that loss of not having Camille con available um it puts

It in a in a bit of bit of Doubt for the Mariners um the longest losing streak is four trus is five but they’ve really really improved in recent times under Nigel Atkins he’s really got them um he’s really got them playing and believing in themselves Danny Rose obviously Gins be’s top

Scorer and um former Mariner Conor Jennings is tr’s top scorer like I said he scored in the in the draw at uh TR earlier in the season and Connor decent Striker when he was at Grimsby a very very decent lad as well um no one speaks um B of Connor very good

Lad um so it’ be good to see him back at uh blond Park obviously uh wish them all the look after Saturday’s game but you never know what could occur if we just quickly look at the league table Um there’s five points between them um Trum here are in 18th Place on 33 points Grimsby are in um 19th Place with 28 points um and obviously three backto back wins as well they’ve uh the sorry two backto back defeats after three straight wins of from here that just kind of

Um uh levels them back off 40 goals scored for gunsby this season in the league 49 conceded 43 scored for trir 42 conceded for trir um so there could be goals in this really uh and you expect that with grinby games at the moment last time grinby played was draw with Knox

County with having it being postponed um I did I did listen to David Al’s full uh prematch press conference and um um there’s obviously a little bit of uh team news to come out of that um that being Arthur gooa is back in training um probably will not be uh available

Ailable in time to um play but he is on the grass he is starting to train um so could um be making his return possibly as early as aington we’ll have to wait and see about that but to be fair he’s he’s played fairly well under artel so it would be a nice

Um a nice added body if we can get Arthur back all truth um was spoke also about Lil Pike he’s a little bit further away um but uh could uh be back in a few weeks time but uh shouldn’t should you know no time scale but should be back probably sooner

Rather than later uh Doug Dam who who obviously Zed from Blackpool because of um uh last week’s postponement uh hopefully will’ll be looking to make his debut uh against trir on Saturday so we’ll look out to see um what happens with Doug uh but obviously with

The uh with the departures of of of Luke waterfall and out his KH we are going to be probably short or light of a couple of bodies especially at the back but having Doug come in at some point hopefully that’ll bring us on a little bit so

Um you know it’s all all a bit of a all a bit of a challenge um what team that that artel will put out is all down to David artel and um um I would I wouldn’t change too much from the knot County game obviously with Conte leaving and waterfall

Leaving um it’s probably going to be malaky um playing alongside Rogers I would probably imagine uh um with d maybe somebody but I don’t know whether we’ll have anybody in t um but as we head into the final week of the window um hopefully we’ll have a few

Bodies in uh Trum like I said in general they had a horrible start um to the season they they could not buy a win um but since Nigel Lins has come in they have they found this new found belief that I think they they didn’t have and

It’s very surprising to see tramier down as low in the league as they are because they they are a good club to be honest and I remember I remember the battles that we had in the late 90s early 2000s against trir in um in what he’s now the

Championship and uh you know um I think TR and Gins I think was one of my very first games um that I went to as a Grimsby fan um so this game should be a a close encounter like I said they’ve got um they’ve got some dangerous players of

Try R so we’ll have to we’ll have to keep our eye on on them and obviously Connor with the Grimsby link is obviously the main man in the Mariners eyes in the Mariners fans eyes that could cause us some real damage and like I said did um down Penton Park earlier

In the season when he scored the L equalizer um but this game is going to be a a tough game I expect goals because neither side seem to be able to again defend and that’s one of grimsby’s biggest problems um I expect this to be a high scoring game maybe not as crazy

As the knots County game but I do feel like both sides have got um uh threats including uh War player Kieran Morris who is also at Trum rers and uh just I point him out because he did score I believe it was in tr’s last outing or last couple of outings so it

Like I said but there players all over the pitch and obviously Nigel’s got the the belief going through trir I I I’ve got to believe that you know we’re going to start going on a little bit of a run um obviously we know that Doug has got a

Long throw will that be used to ginsb Advantage um in this game um if he plays he it’s definitely an option that we can use I’m not saying we use it every throwing but definitely from you know a chance to get the ball in the Box there’s always that

Possibility of of uh throwing it in there and and seeing if someone can land on it but also you want to be able to mix that up I think that’s what David artel is looking for is to mix up the uh mix up the play he did mention about

They have uh spoken try to do some work on defensive organization because there’s no doubt about that uh grinby need that but I think obviously there’s talk of a couple of right backs or a couple of left backs uh as well well couple of right and left backs coming in uh to try

And strengthen that area we definitely need uh some wi backs with Pace because like Toby Malak was shown a few times uh against not County and a few times even against Mansfield and that’s all lot that he is done for Pace a lot so we need we need some Pace in those areas

And hopefully in the next week those couple of things can be can be addressed in the next week or so um now I’ll give my prediction for this I think uh I think it’s going to be a high scoring game not as strong as it was against knot County U but I’m I’m

Going to go for I’m going to go for two one win for the Mariners um Danny R again because Danny’s on fire uh I’m going to basically go Denny Rose and abisa yes that sounds boring um but I honestly think these two guys are Town’s biggest goal threat I

Think that we have um I also think that Harry Clifton could get in on there but I’m saying Rose and Isa with the two goals for the maners and you know what it’s bound to be Conor be Conor Jennings that scores for them won’t it uh wouldn’t surprise me former

Player uh coming back to his former club and causing Havoc it would not surprise me in the slightest but uh I’m saying 21 guys give me your uh your thoughts and your predictions on the game uh leave them in social media leave them at the bottom of this video so um there’ll
