Even possible that he’s not in the top 10 on this list I think based on the extended voting he was just outside the top 10 but it’s inconceivable to me that he’s not in the top five if not the top three let’s look at the numbers real quick

Here posto currently third in NHL scoring with 61 points through 43 games 11 points behind McKinnon and coov so fair that they’re in the top then you have points per game you have kucherov 1.67 McKinnon at 1.6 Conor McDavid 1.53 David poshak 1.42 third or sorry fourth in points per

Uh divisional or League Power Rankings so I thought I would still take Thursdays to update the Atlantic division Power Rankings and there’s a bit of a shakeup going on over there now at the bottom very clear who the lowest team is and that’s the Ottawa Senators 15 and 24 this season 30 points

In 39 games a 385 point percentage a very disappointing season under new ownership yes they still have tons of games in hand uh five games in hand on Buffalo Montreal Tampa Detroit and Florida four games in hand on the our Bruins uh just three on the Maple Leafs

But they’re not earning points in what they have been given three and seven over their last 10 uh just an abysmal record of 4 and 13 on the Road they’re not coming up anytime soon lights are probably out as well for the Buffalo Sabres 477 point percentage the Montreal Canadians

They’re not a playoff team either 511 point percentage which is pretty impressive with this group uh sosi’s come on in recent they have a very solid Top Line in Sosi Nick Suzuki Cole Coffield but the depth just isn’t there this isn’t a playoff team at the moment

Those are the bottom three teams there are five teams that are still in contention for playoff spots at the moment and if you look at the wild card situation there’s two Atlantic teams that are in those spots at the moment the Tampa Bay Lightning 22 17 of five 49

Points a 557 point percentage and the Toronto Maple Leafs 50 points through 42 games 595 point percentage and uh a healthy plus 12 go differential if you look at point percentage among the Wild Card hopefuls Toronto still holds on to the top spot but you have Pittsburgh Washington and

New Jersey all ahead of Tampa Bay when it comes to point percentage they have two games in hand all three of those teams have two games in hand on the lightning uh so Tampa’s in real danger of missing out on the playoffs as are the Maple Leaves to be honest Pittsburgh

Washington New Jersey all there the Leafs have lost three in a row four four- two you expect them to turn it around at some point but right now they are outside of the top three when it comes to uh the Atlantic division now that’s not in terms of point percentage as

We’ll see right now the Leafs are third in point percentage in the Atlantic 595 compared to 580 for the Detroit Red Wings Detroit has played two more games and they have one more point so you think that that would probably balance out but Detroit’s won three in a row

Boston’s won two in a row and the Panthers have uh dropped two uh in overtime over the past couple of games they’re still seven1 and two over their last 10 Florida is Boston 61 and three but the Bruins currently have a three-point Advantage at top the Atlantic with one fewer game played 709
