Both Brzustewicz (ugh that’s gonna be annoying to spell) and Jurmo are defensemen. The former a RHS while the latter is a LHS. Guessing Conroy targeted defensemen in particular in this deal.

Hunter is right below blue chip, but his stats in the O are challenging that status.
Jurmo was a 3rd Round Pick in 2020, he’s big and skates well but I haven’t heard much since the 2022 World Juniors
Flames look better off in this trade, but we will see.

Man I’m so pumped! Hunter plays for my local team in Kitchener. He’s a great skating defenseman that’s putting up a lot of points this year in the OHL. Super excited that he’s going to be playing for my favourite NHL team!

An absolute fleecing by Conroy. I assumed he’d get Kuzmenko and a first for Lindholm.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think they’d get that plus Brstewics and a 4th.
No exaggeration, Brztewics might be the best defense prospect in the world. He’s currently 3rd in points in the OHL as a defenseman at 19 years old.
