The worst is Gio for me. I wish he could get a cup, glad at least he got one Norris.

  2. setrataeso

Maybe the real Stanley Cup was the friends we made along the way…

  3. I have a Calgary alt jersey signed by the 5 and a bottle of purple gato signed by the 3. 🥲 Goodnight, friends. I loved your frustrating but fun hockey.

I didn’t think I was gonna be sad after tonight, but here we are

  5. hellbentqq

So will Lindolm still represent the flames at the all star game?

  6. Tweakin69

Dont worry kuzmenko will become a fan fav quickly

  7. MartyCool403

It hurts but a new era for the Flames is starting. This team will rise from the ashes!

My friend, in death, there is rebirth.

I’m gonna go off the rails here but in Tarot, the Death card literally symbolises *new possibilities* and *change on the horizon* and that fighting it will get nowhere. Embrase change and go with the flow. You lose and you gain.

Thanks for Monahan – from a Habs fan. I don’t say that facetiously either, he’s one of the few if only good player we can trade while rebuilding.

  10. Well as a Canucks fan are you guys cheering for us? If we go far, that 4th rounder becomes a 3rd 👀

    I feel your pain, OP.

Time to put this picture into the Sad Wolverine meme.

That team didn’t do anything gio used to tip 10% whatever bruh

Kuzy will light it up for you, he just couldn’t understand Tocchet’s system.

Helluva talent, entertaining as f and a great guy ✔️

These guys never had it guys. Great regular season team but couldn’t ever put it together in the playoffs. I’d miss them if we got a deep run but they couldn’t even get us 6 wins in the post season.

The next core will get us 16.

As a neutral fan coming in peace, you guys did really well today. Imagine Kuzmenko and Huby become a perfect fit and rejuvenate each other. That’s another big haul at TDL ‘25.

Not to mention what Hanifin, Tanev, Marky, Sharky, and Mangiapane could get. This could be a relatively speedy rebuild.

I remember having Chucky and Lindholm in 2021-2022 fantasy, total cheat code. Still chasing the rush that stack gave me every week.

  17. BlakeWheelersLeftNut

Give me your guess on how many years to rebuild better than the 2022 team

  18. Quirky_Might317

It was a good crew. But I’ve seen a few good crews in my day.

What I really want is to see another crew with a Stanley Cup or a few.

Nucks fan here, take care of Kuzy for us, hes a real gem. I hope he gets back to his scoring ways! Will miss him, but excited for Lindholm!

Also, the Nucks were trash for a long time, some good picks and luck and you guys will be back winning in no time!

Any fellow Canucks fan was of the same mind before this trade: No matter where Kuzmenko went, he would light it up. The guy is super gifted, a class act, a fan favorite, and he will be there too! He just didn’t fit into Tocchet’s system and slowly lost confidence over the year, but it will come back quickly with a longer leash and more ice time.

You also got an incredible prospect in Hunter Brzustewicz. The only reason he didn’t play in the World Juniors this year was because of some weird Hockey America rule about playing in the OHL. He could be a franchise player in a few years.

I think both teams are winners in this trade 👊
Don’t worry, we will treat Elias good and he’s already BFFs with Petey haha

Don’t be sad they are over, be happy that they happened!

This marks the end of an era. I’m ready for future, but it still hurts

  22. Memey-Maliky

I’m the proud and sad owner of a signed Monahan jersey. Such an amazing player to watch, really unfortunate that he isn’t a household name because of his injuries.

  23. n0thingisperfect

As a Canucks fan I expect you guys to squeak into the playoffs and beat us in the first round. As is our custom.

  24. BrewHandSteady

Listen I know they won jack shit, but that’s a lot of talent in that pic. We did have at least two fun seasons.

I remember the Fan 960 morning guys during the first division title season saying to savour it, only one team can win the cup and having a really good home team is not the norm.
