I'm hoping that if they are guilty they receive the max time. However if they are found innocent they hopefully will be able to continue with their careers in the NHL and Swiss leagues.

"IF" Dillon failed to tell the team the real reason for his leave of absence, Flames should terminate his contract IMMEDIATELY! "IF" the Flames knew the real reason why for his leave of absence, They should be held accountable for misleading and lying to the fans of the team, and fans of the NHL and should be prosecuted appropriately. Going to be an interesting next 2 years as this thing unfolds.
What complete nonsense by Calgary. NHL teams were aware. Just look at Philadelphia Flyers. They used two early draft picks on Goalies (2nd & 3rd round). You don't do that unless you have some data that Carter Hart is involved in situation from 2018. For Calgary to pull this card solidifies their earlier attempt to use mental health leave of absence as not only poor taste but complete lack of awareness of current culture.
It is entirely possible that he had a nervous breakdown facing charges.
“IF” the Calgary Flames had any inkling about why Dube needed a leave of absence, then they should have said that he was attending to “personal” rather than “mental health” issues. Then we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. Hiding behind the mental health banner is despicable, whoever was responsible for it

There was an NHL investigation going on. They damn well knew.
Let us think logically here. If the Flames knew that Dube was going to be charged, then that means that they also knew that Dube would be named as one of the 5 within the next few days. So why would the Flames, who just handled the Kylington situation so well, throw that all away just to protect Dube's public image for a few days. Makes absolutely no sense. The fact that he also left the Flames several days before any of the other players means there was no real connection that he was a part of the 5 until a few days later.
The only way this makes sense is if Dubé was suicidal as he realized how much trouble he was in.
Ok Flamez, whatever you say. Just like the Blackhawks were unaware of the predator they employed and vouched for after being let go.
