Highlights from now Calgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith. Smith was acquired by Calgary on 6/17/17 for Chad Johnson, Brandon Hickey, and a conditional third round pick that can turn into a second if the Flames make the playoffs
As a Flames fan he's exactly what we need. Excited for what he brings, seems like a sturdy, reliable, athletic, big and competitive guy. Can't wait to see how he does with the Flames and how his puck moving can help us.
As my point as a flames fan smith is a great sport player though he gets crushed when he leaves the net but he's a great goalie for those unbelievable stops

From what it looks like he wouldn't have had to made half of these saves if he had some semblance of defense in front of him out in arizona
