NOT GONNA BE ANY TRADES this year. Florida and Boston too strong. Besides, these whiny losers will get bounced in the first round or miss the show all together.

This group hasn't earned any help at the deadline, especially for picks and prospects. They need to stand pat and try again next year.

I don't feel that the current Leaf team is close enough to being a legitimate contender to keep giving away the future only to get bounced in the first or second round. It seems that the Leafs have bigger problems. When you look at the top-end talent on this team, the team as a whole is underperforming. This group has already proven that they can't or even worse, won't play a heavy game which is precisely why they won't go deep in the post-season.
Canucks would get more than they paid
Zadorov is trash on the ice and poison in the dressing room, Tanev is exactly what the Leafs need, even a slight over pay would be worth it.

If Zadorov wasn't happy in Calgary, then goes to the best team in the League and isnt happy there after a couple weeks…. sounds like a Zadorov problem and he'll want out of Toronto faster than both those other teams.

"Zadorov is a poison in the dressing room", Canucks have buyers remorse and may look to dump Zadorov immediately.
