Tune in as we open by discussing Detroit’s OT loss to Brady Tkachuk and the Ottawa Senators, including Larkin’s 12 game point streak, Sprong’s production, a rare Alex Lyon loss, Kane’s gift for Sprong, & more from Lalonde’s squad (5:40). After reminiscing about Al the Octopus, we discuss the Detroit Red Wings’ playoff hopes as a Wild Card team (15:20) before continuing our conversation about Moritz Seider’s deployment (24:35).
Next, an early look at NHL trade rumors and whether players like Chychrun or Vatrano would make sense for Steve Yzerman to bring to Hockeytown (29:15).
After that, NHL news including the Lindholm trade between Calgary and Vancouver, Kakko being available, Jiricek unhappy in Columbus, & more (39:55) before we take your questions and comments during our Overtime segment (55:35) – enjoy!

The Wings, will need at least 96 points to make the playoffs which means over the next 32 games, 38 points. They have 14 home games and 18 on the road.
Ryan Has a more Punchable Face
Brad has a more Punchable Voice
Has anyone mentioned that Ryan is actually Mike McDaniel coach of the Dolphins? Ryan has the most punchsble face.
Brad is the most realistic and likeable, imho. Evan at first is an arrogant doosh, but he seems to back up his tude so, okay that's fine. Ryan, I definitely had the urge, more than once, to slap the taste out of your mouth. You're too harmless to want to punch, really. The slap should be sufficient. Great job guys keep it up! Im a patreon btw. No hate.
As successful and optimistic as January was the gauntlet starts again from the last week of February to the end of the season is a bombardment of East matches that are going to be fighting for the wildcard. Just the finishing games of April are monumental. There are still games against Pittsburgh, Tampa, Islanders, and Capitals. Also teams wanting to play spoilers for points. The wings will need all hands on deck amd need Husso to get back his form to help. It's about to get teeth clenching serious soon. Time to prove themselves as a core group.
The NHL must make 2 awards for defenceman, offence and defence awards. Its long overdue. Sieder deserves a Norris ths year
I feel we would do better on defence if Edvinssen and Johannson would be starters next year
Just an idea, i think it would be cool if we trade for goalie Conner Ingram from Arizona for Husso plus a pick or a prospect.
Excited to attend my first ever WWP Night next month! LGRW
