    The NHL Desperately needs to figure out the actual direction and presentation of these events. I really hate to say it because I’m sure it’s not easy trying to direct NHL players who clearly are terrible on camera but the entire broadcast for these things is always a shit show.

    Constantly you have things like the players not knowing they’d be on hot mics while deliberating their decisions, the captains seemingly not understanding how a snake draft works, coming back from commercial and a player has already been picked? There’s just a lack of cohesion and coordination in the entire broadcast, and it makes the entire thing feel like an afterthought.
