Sean Monahan only played 74 total games with the Habs over the past two years but he became a fan favourite. He was always cool, calm & collected & brought a veteran presence to the team. Thank you Sean & best of luck!

   Woah not even a full season huh. Mony will be missed.

   He’s only ever really been good for us, 2 firsts and a bonafide veteran center presence for our growing team. Hope nick and jake learned as much as they could from his faceoff technique.

   Honestly the fact that he was such a team player in resigning with us to give it another go speaks to how much of a stand up fella he is. Really helped out the organization on and off the ice.

    Good teammate and worked his butt off (despite having a small sample of games)! If only the injury wasn’t the factor, KH would have given him an extension.

    Hopefully he does test FA come off season and possibly sign with the Habs again.

    I don’t know if it makes sense, but some players just feel like natural Habs, and Monahan was one. Even though he had been a Flame for so long, there was no awkwardness about it like there might have been when we got Trevor Linden or Erik Cole/Eric Staal or even Andy Moog.

    Wish the situation called for him to stay longer, and I hope he comes back to us next year.
