Kuz. off the market. Casucks get lindholm for kuz. Casucks loading up in loaded west. Flames got quite a haul for a rental. Including kuz a first, ohl leading scoring d man assist man brzusewicz, jurmo, cond, fourth. Trade season is here-whatcha gonna do now now louzer? I hear la may have kaliev a goal scorer on the market. You know a guy louzer passed over to take 10. This is how you wheel and deal louzer. You have to have something to give to get something. This prospect pool shows you got shit-nothing to offer. Your old garbage maybe fetches a 4th. On to prospects. George is ahl eligible after jr. season. Problem is he is on a loaded london knights team that could well go to mem. cup and will be playing late into season. No chance for george to ahl this season. Odelios should be playing in n. america. That will hamper development curve by another year or so. Maggio-you can't give up on him just half season into pro career. He may still carve out a niche to be a productive player. Dufour-concerned goal scoring at pro level just may never come a season plus half into ahl career. Is dufour on a long development curve or is his flaw, skating, too much to overcome like say it is with 26. The dude can score, has a shot, and knows how to get to scoring position. At least in jr. he could. Amazing ishkatov isn't even considered a prospect anymore. Never getting a cup of coffee at nhl level. He'll just play out contract and move on. Hopefully for the better. Free of louzer. Nelson? Unless he's brock too raw to comment on. I am gone now-prospect report too depressing.

Good morning team. Gil, excellent show as always. So, in the prospect pool, we moved from very bad to worse in the league. If we're at rock bottom, it's got to get better from here right? NOT! Not while Lou is our fearless leader. Looks like we'll just have to win with the players we have. How does everyone feel about that? I don't know about anyone else. I'm just ready to see hockey again. Monday seems so far away. I hope the team has been using this time to button up some serious mistakes they need to eliminate. Looking forward to the next episode. Any analyst who thinks Simon Holmstrom isn't going to keep improving is going to be proven wrong. When he is 25, he is going to be a 30-goal scorer. He's always deferring too much currently, but Roy has him carrying the puck more and there's a LOT of passes he made that should have been converted to goals, but the receiver didn't bury the puck.
Hi Gil! Next year I’d like to see our new 4th line—-Maggio/Ishikov/Dufor in essence, that’s the best we have for now trade Jg and move Czikas to the 3rd line. Move or buy out Palmeri and if we keep Whally—he goes there but I’d rather see him go. We have a couple kids moving forward but that’s not for another 2 years minimum. As for the present Gil—-Kuzmenko has been traded to Calgary—gone. For this run -go get Laine or Tarasenko. I prefer Laine—-badly needs a change of scenery. Without either of those two—I’m not sure we make it. I’ve changed my mind about Holmstrom. I made fun of him quite a bit and he made me eat my words. I feel he can take another jump next year and become a 2 way annual 20 goal scorer. Let’s wait and see. However if he and Whally need to be traded—-no tears here. The future does not look bright but ya never know if any of those guys take a crazy leap forward!! Bottom line? This is their last chance before changes are made. It begins with Louless. If he’s allowed to go past this year—we will regreses 7 years IMO—at the moment it can be salvaged. Give Roy a raise—-give him the Gm keys—get him an assistant Gm that’s good with numbers and we go from there!! I will root hard for these last games but you have to come out if the gate like gang busters!! Ps—-if we play kids next year—-I’d try and steal Macdermid from Colorado to help patrol when needed. In closing no where to go but up!! Let’s keep hoping a Star blossoms from the junk others claim we have.
