  1. Social Media rumors are often just BS rumors. There is no way a 6'6" 240-pounder that backed his teammates and bashed down Liam O'brien (heavy weight) with ease is leaving the Canucks at the deadline.

  2. (D) Pierre Oliver-Joseph of the Penguins is rumored to be available. He's cheap salary wise and will not cost you 2 picks. Yet he is a 3rd or 4th team D that can skate. You want to add more forward depth Jim Dowd from Washington. Can play multiple positions and will help solidify your center position depth and faceoff depth.

  3. I'd love to see Tanev here, but I'm done giving up valuable assets and futures when there's no way in hell they're even going to be able to resign all of these guys. Lindholm will be 30 next year and this is his last chance to make bank and guys aren't taking pay cuts very often anymore. I would think he, Pettersson and Hronek are absolute priorities in the offseason, but they don't want to overpay anyone, because then there's no room to potentially replace Zadorov, who won't resign for cheap, Myers, and Ian Cole. Those are 3 good, veteran NHL defensemen. They're replaceable, but with who? If it's not via free agency, I don't like them throwing away more futures. We now have 3 excellent prospects in the system and giving any of them up for rentals would be ridiculous.

  4. It's technically possible for Lindholm and Pettersson to be signed, but they will need to move off from some contracts. Garland will have to be traded away and his salary cannibalized by Lindholm. Myers' salary will most likely be split between Pettersson and Hronek. Ian Cole may be convinced to re-sign at maybe a slightly reduced rate as a chance for another cup before retiring contract. Zadorov will be unlikely to remain for the same salary.

Garland's open spot will be an opportunity for Podkolzin, Hoglander, Bains, and Karlsson to grab. Defense will be weaker… but you will need prospects to either make it or break it. Prospects like Jett Woo, Hirose, McWard, Johansson, etc will need to step up as they're entering the final years of "development".

  5. Nick Seeler, Sean Walker, and Alexandre Carrier would all be decent acquisitions as Tanev alternatives and shouldn't cost an arm OR a leg. I don't think Matt Dumba would fit very well on the Canucks however

  6. This interview shows how toxic Vancouver sports media is… (1) Lindholm is a replacement for EP – who is club controlled after this year by the way … (2) Rutherford yesterday reiterated Zadorov isn't going anywhere

  7. Lindy as a substitute for EP if he doesn't sign is such a silly take. Lindy isn't even a substitute for Miller. He's depth at this point. Signing him long term would be a disaster

  8. I awoke from a dream the other day, and in it, the Canucks had decided to keep Lindholm with a long term extension, and then followed up by trading EP 40 to Pittsburgh for a package that included an extended Guentzel, and a right shot defeceman….oh the madness! The madness!!

  9. Frank Seravelli is the only one from media that Canucks will be top 3 in the western division and he said that before the season started. The rest of the media looked them outside the wild card. Frank is a legend 😊

  10. What was the comment about zadorv not meshing in the locker room? Did you guys just pull that out of your ass or what?

  11. I wouldn't have Monahan on my roster for playoffs, he's great in regular season. He disappeared in the playoffs with Calgary, it was Sam Bennett who showed up big for Calgary in the playoffs!

  12. wow if you haven't had the chance, go watch Kuzenko's highlites from last year. Where was that effort this year? He would lso be an allstar if he still played like that. He was awesome, almost Bure esk.

  13. Really a Four Nations🤦‍♂🤣. McDavid having never to play in the Olympics, how about the Russians too Frankie? Seravalli's home nation Imperialist America get to play in every Olympics or Worlds.
