  1. As for resigning Lindholm, depending if we win it all in my view, I agree with John I don't think they solely brought him over with being a mere rental in mind, albeit what kind of number Lindholm asks for I think they will try to keep him.

  2. Gotta get a Seeler type Dman at low cost. Sign Tanev in the summer. Stetcher is signed for 1.1 this year and Arizona might let him go.

  3. Young ish, dependable 3rd pair d man.

Lekkerimaki, raty, willander, podkolzin. Still canucks after trade deadline. Walanin, Woo, Irvin from in or traceable?

  4. @0:49 Feel bad? Why? Instead of a one-day TDL tv event, it is a now a month long thing. There is so much more to chew on, coverage-wise, from now until playoffs. Personally, I will be following Lindholm and Canucks more closely, from coverages. Have an eye at the same time to see if Canucks will add defensive depth, or more. Also what the rest of other contenders are doing.

  5. Let’s be real here. It’s laughable to think the salt lake team was better than 10,14

  6. This idea that Tocchet's expectations or style is what stifled Kuz is just silly. He's still the same guy on PP's or top lines with the puck on his stick now missing golden opportunities, hesitating etc. Its something between his ears or his decision to party in Bali last summer. He went cold. Good luck in Cow Town.

  7. Sekeres just loves fear mongering about pettersson, can’t wait to say I TOLD YOU SO when he re signs this summer

  8. Such a bad idea to trade for tanev he’s old and at the end of his career, let another team make that mistake

  9. This is a move made intending to please EP. And use it as a bargaining chip to convince him to take less. He’ll agree to something between $1M – $10M leaving us crazy flexibility. It’ll be the first great dynasty of the cap era. Vancouver Canucks. 2024, 2025, 2026, 2028 Stanley Cup Champions. You heard it here first. Quote me on it.

  10. With regards to Luongo, at that moment, One could argue that for what was, up to that point, the biggest moment in hockey for luongo by a landslide, he could do far far far worse than only letting in one goal in the gold medal game. As a goalie. It don’t matter how many pucks I drop pack into the slot. On the goals the get passed the line. And he only let in 1 in the biggest hockey Olympic moment in Canadian history possibly. He did great guys. Don’t even think about given him any grief about his play that game.

  11. Because of just how strong and tight the western conference is going to be, I think it will be a HUGE advantage if we can be the top team in the conference because that team will get the 2nd wild card team to play and this yr I think only that team(2nd wild card) will be fairly easier to play against, because the top 6 and even the 1st wild card team will be tough to play against because that's just how many tough teams there are in the west this yr. So that leaves only the 2nd wild card that will be significantly less tougher a team to play, which means Vancouver really has to get the west top spot if they want to avoid potentially getting bounced out in the first round. That is their best chance of going far in the playoffs imo.
