How common is this condition? Iāve seen making the 3rd round like with Lindholm and copp but I cant remember a time where winning the cup was a condition. Love it for us though

Not bad at all. I don’t think Monahan is usually worth a 1st but the market for centers is pretty barren right now. Glad Chevy’s all in right now, while keeping our next wave of prospects intact.

I really hope he gets a good long look on PP1. Heās deadly there and that is something we obviously sorely need. On top of that 55% face off guy who excelled with a small speedy winger???? Sounds like a match made in heaven for our second line. Another great move by Chevy.Ā
First round pick is also much easier to swallow when you have a (likely) high second rounder already in the bank. Go Jets Go!!
So Iām not really a behind the scenes guy, I like to casually watch games and thatās kinda the extent of my fandomā¦ can someone tell me does this mean if we donāt win the Stanley cup we only have to give up the one pick? Like is that the condition? If we win the habs get another pick, but if we donāt they get nothing?
I love how Chevy threw out a 3rd IF WE WIN THE CUP. And the other GM didn’t just laugh it off.

You guys are going to love him.. not the best defensively or the most physical.. but great at faceoff, really good hockey IQ and he is extremely patient and loves to slow plays down.. I can already see Connor enjoying his time with Mony.
Tbh I was not super happy with this trade because I thought the condition was going to be ā2025 3rd that becomes a 2nd if the Jets make the WCFā. This pick is a non-asset because either itās nothing or we win the cup and it doesnāt matter.
