An All-Star Collaboration between Finn and Auston Matthews (Part 1)

Listen to Finn’s story and hear about how he had the chance to collaborate with Auston Matthews to create a unique custom CCM skate for the upcoming All-Star weekend in Toronto, thanks to the SickKids Foundation.

Finn, now 7 years-old, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at just 5 weeks old and has been receiving regular treatment at the SickKids Hospital ever since. A HUGE hockey and Auston Matthews fan, Finn was invited to design a pair of skates that Auston will wear at the All-Star game.

This wasn’t their first meeting though! Auston, a regular visitor at SickKids Hospital, met with Finn 4 years ago, and this was their incredible reunion. They spent some time together colouring some skates, doing a show n’ tell, and of course talking about their love of dinosaurs. This is just Part 1.

Stay tuned to see Finn and his family taking in all the action at the All-Star game and see his design being worn on ice by Auston Matthews.
