He was a pretty consensus Norris finalist through the first half of last year when the team was good around him.
You want the most out of a superstar defenseman? Enable them. Give them forwards that can finish on high end playmaking. Give them a bit of support in the defensive end so they can take risks. Give them a coach that makes the roster want to run through a wall to win and can institute a modern offensive scheme.
Of course he has more to give, but there’s nobody out there giving you what you want from Dahlin (90+pt pace w/ good defense) with their highest scoring forward pacing for 70 points.
