A guy I’ve brought up in the past is Rasmus Andersson. I don’t think the Flames are looking to move him. But he’s exactly the type of guy, and contract, I’d be looking for.

I think the notion that the "need to shake things up" is bizarre. Shaking things up should never be a reason to trade anybody, particularly a 6-2, 207 very talented 25 year-old. What part of his game does Staios not like? If he wants him to play a different way, couldn't he and the new "coaches" tell him? Why him and not Chabot? This, like Yorky's Stetzle for Levavaliere wish, make zero sense. How much is Chabot making right now and how is his contract? I've seen Chic in fights and play hard, you find that in Chabot's game. Should this go down, it will be 3 things I disagree with: hiring Chiarelli, hiring Martin and putting AlFredo to Coach. I was hoping for much better.
Need a top-4 shutdown RD. I'd only trade Chychrun if we could get the exact type of player we need as a return. Go get Mackenzie Weegar from Calgary.
All the people saying to trade Chabot are nuts. You'd get NOTHING in return. His 8M AAV means very few teams can afford him and none would give up high-value assets to get him. Chychrun has much higher trade value because of his cheap contract.
