   Copying what I posted on r/hockey:

   Unfortunate, but necessary (though I doubt he’s claimed). With Theo expected back soon and Miro on a conditioning stint, we’re about to be at nine healthy defensemen and only one of those is waiver-exempt (Korczak). This gets us down to eight, Korczak getting sent down drops us to seven.

   Will be interesting what we do once Hutton and Bjornfot are healthy, though – Bjornfot’s an easy waiver candidate, and I highly doubt we waive Hutton right after a two-year extension, but I don’t know what the team will do between carrying eight defensemen or waiving Miro.

   I actually have a bad feeling he could get claimed. He’s a right shot defenseman, and those are highly desirable.

   If he can make it through and get sent to Henderson, then thank God, but I’m quite nervous right now.
