The Hoffman goal is ironic but one of the slickest overall goals I've ever seen. Slick pass on the perfect spot right before the blue and Hoffmans finish was looking easy breezy against one of the best tendys in the world. Those kids are a masterpiece.. lol
Hockey players are getting more skilled for each decade that passes. I marveled at the plays guys like Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr made 25 years ago. Now it seems every team has three or four guys who can make those moves just as effortlessly.
The on purpose skate slash of his Achilles tendon ended his superstar career, which is a shame because if he hadn't been taken out by that dirty play, Eric's play over his career might have come close to matching the superstardom of Bobby Orr, he was that good.
