I would trade Perfetti for Laine. Perfetti is just a small guy with no real fire. Sure he's got skills, and every now and again you see those skills, but mostly he gets manhandled and cries. Like with that incident of getting high sticked. He took it to the media and and tattled rather than dropping his gloves like a man. I've got no respect for the baby, ship him out and take Laine or some other homeless dude that will fight for his meals.

We don’t need to change Laine, put him on the power play, and see what he can do with some of the newer acquisitions. It could be a very productive second chance.

I'd love to see Laine back and if anybody can get his defensive game on track, it's Bones and our other coaches. In addition, it would be an instant fill of the arena to get Laine back here… he was beloved and still is by many of us. I'm on board with this idea.

I don’t see Laine as a huge risk at this moment. We have other weapons so he’d be harder to defend against and wouldn’t be the only threat to score. The coaching staff got a terrible defensive team to be defensive so he’d be taught. Different captain in Adam who would know how to help him. I just think the Jets are going for a 2C before anything else. Interesting idea though.
No, he was overrated when he was in Winnipeg and now, he’s just a disappointment as a second overall pick. He can’t play a well rounded game and he can’t even score like he used to.
